A journey of innovation, entrepreneurship
and integrity.

Auxilium Outsourcing was started by our founder, Michael Steep, after successfully employing administrative staff from a different offshoring provider from The Philippines for over 4 years for his insurance broking business. With the offshore team handling almost all manual admin tasks, Michael could focus on growing revenue and was able to expand the business. The team had grown to 8 support staff – without whom the quantifiable revenue growth wouldn’t have happened.
After a couple of years of engaging a competing BPO, he started searching to partner with an alternative outsourcing provider that could find qualified staff quickly, provide a great client experience, without price gouging and also alleviating the pressure on him as a small business owner. What he encountered was multiple companies that promised a lot – but didn’t deliver.
After also being approached by other business owners in his network wanting to hire their own offshore staff – he eventually decided to start his own local Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company. Wanting to differentiate Auxilium Outsourcing from other players in the market, our approach has always been underpinned by our four core values.
OUR CORE FOUR

Values

Accessibility

Being able to find and employ remote staff shouldn’t be so cost-prohibitive that it’s only feasible for a large company making huge profit margins. There is a solution that will suit every budget.

Transparency

We don’t hide how much money we make, and how much money our staff members make. We aren’t in the business of hiding behind fees and charges that make no sense. We provide a full breakdown of how the gross salaries that our staff receive are broken down into every benefit they’re entitled to.

People Focused and Family First

Our employees and candidates are the heart and soul of our business. We wouldn’t exist without them, and we pride ourselves on making sure they are treated like human beings – not admin robots living in another country. They’re an integral part of the team, and we also know that life happens, and things come up. We always make sure our team know that no job is more important than their family – and if they need to see their child graduate, or help their in-laws because someone is unwell, we will do everything we can to make sure that our culture reflects the ability to do that.

We’ll Challenge the Status Quo

We expect our clients to treat their staff members in a way that upholds our values, and if we feel that it’s not a good cultural fit, we’ll have an open and transparent conversation – and suggest alternative solutions. We also ensure that we seek out feedback equally from our client and the staff member from the first day, through to the end of the first year so that we can be sure our clients are happy, and our staff are happy.

Michael Steep

FOUNDER & CEO

Michael learned the value of a good work ethic whilst growing up on a cattle farm in country NSW, before landing a sales job selling rugs (yes, you read that right) in Sydney. After cutting his teeth on earning commissions from floor coverings, he ended up starting what would turn out to be a 20-year long career in insurance. He’s been a principal broker for the last 12 of those years, and now lives in the lively Chinatown district of Sydney with his girlfriend where they enjoy traveling, getting outdoors for hikes and trying new cuisines.

CASE STUDIES

Hear From Our Clients

Business Process Outsourcing Australia
"We engaged Auxilium Outsourcing to hire someone to join the team as a senior sales administrator. It was critical that they had experience in motor vehicle insurance due to the nature of our business, and Michael and his team did a great job at finding someone who ticked all the boxes. We’ve just passed the three-month-mark and are now hiring for two additional people. We couldn’t be happier with both the hiring/selection process, and our team member."
Jeremy Bennett
CEO/Founder Ride Protect
"Risk Advisory hired two administration staff to join our team. As we have an established team of experienced insurance administrators, we weren’t looking for industry experience so much as fit into the existing group. They have both been wonderful and have learned a lot of complex concepts in a relatively short period of time. They work autonomously and take direction well, as well as showing initiative and common sense – which takes a lot off my mind as a manager."
Teena Mathews
Senior Manager Risk Advisory Australia
"We are currently still in the hiring process, but so far it’s been seamless. I thought that our request for a Bookkeeper with Australian experience and knowledge of Xero from The Philippines would be a tough one to achieve, but so far have had 5 great candidates put forward, all scheduled for interviews. There’s been minimal input from me, besides a conversation with Chloe – they have administered technical testing and personality testing, and the candidate profiles have been put forward based on both data, as well as their professional experience. I have high hopes for finding someone who is suitable and experienced."
